Nebula · genetic strategy engine for MT4 / MT5
Stop hunting for the perfect EA. Breed it.
Nebula evolves trading systems against real market data, proves the survivors on data they have never seen, and runs them in MetaTrader with your rules compiled in.
Act 01 - Breed
A genetic engine, not a strategy template.
Most EAs are one frozen idea. Nebula starts from a gene pool of proven building blocks - momentum, breakout, Wyckoff, smart-money, order-flow and more - and evolves whole populations of candidate systems against your chosen market and timeframe.
Learn moreShow less
Each generation, weak candidates die and strong traits recombine. You watch the population improve in real time; the engine does in hours what manual strategy building does in months.
On Ultimate, DNA Selection lets you choose exactly which families the gene pool may draw from - your thesis, evolved.
Act 02 - Prove
Only survivors leave the lab.
A backtest that only looks backwards is a story, not evidence. Every Nebula candidate is retested on held-out data it never trained on - out-of-sample windows and a blind window the search cannot touch - and pushed through anti-overfit gates designed to kill lucky curves.
Learn moreShow less
Survivors carry a confidence grade and their full test record: trade sample, drawdown profile, out-of-sample behaviour. You see the evidence before a system ever touches your money.
And because the strategy compiles to native MQL, Nebula cross-checks its own simulation against MetaTrader's tester - the EA you deploy is the one that was tested.
Act 03 - Grade & collect
Every system carries its evidence with it.
Survivors land in your Vault - a personal library where every system keeps its grade, lineage and full test history. The Confidence Lab digs deeper on demand: stress tests, stability checks, and an honest verdict on how much trust a system has earned.
Learn moreShow less
Grades never quietly disappear, and nothing is ranked on a backtest alone. When a system's evidence weakens, you see that too.
Act 04 - Portfolio
A book of systems - not ten bets on one idea.
Single systems have single points of failure. The portfolio engine combines your survivors into one balanced book, weighting for diversification rather than raw backtest numbers - up to 8 legs on Pro, 12 on Ultimate, with automatic formulation on Ultimate.
Learn moreShow less
The caps aren't marketing tiers - they're where the maths stops being honest. Past ~12 legs, correlation estimates drown in noise, so Nebula refuses to pretend otherwise.
Act 05 - Deploy
One click. A compiled EA on your chart.
Deploy compiles your chosen system to a native MT4 / MT5 Expert Advisor and installs it into your terminal - no copying files, no code editor, no third-party bridge. Your risk settings travel with it: position caps, drawdown limits and news-avoidance windows are compiled into the EA itself.
Learn moreShow less
Every deploy is recorded with its full lineage - which run bred it, what it scored, what changed - so your live book always traces back to its evidence.
Even the free tier includes one real deploy, forever. The pipeline you learn is the real one, end to end.
Act 06 - Manage
Then it manages the book with you.
Markets drift, and every strategy eventually decays. Mission Control watches each deployed system against the profile it was tested to, and flags the moment live behaviour slips out of band - before the damage compounds.
Learn moreShow less
Pause, resume or flatten any live system from the app, and set one drawdown ceiling for the whole account - breach it and every system pulls to safety at once. From Starter you can review a like-for-like replacement from your vault - with a fresh micro-retest as proof - and swap it in by hand. On Ultimate, Auto-Refresh Evolution does the whole loop hands-free: detect decay, source a candidate, hot-swap it over the running EA.

New in Nebula 0.4.47
0.4.47 adds Autonomous mode (beta, Ultimate): set a goal and a time budget and Nebula searches, tests and grades on its own. Also new: The Nebula, one page showing which of your systems cover each other's bad days; alerts that stop repeating once dismissed; a risk stop that confirms it really froze entries; faster forward-data updates; and high-frequency runs returning results again. Nebula updates itself on launch.
Also new since 0.4.45 · all live now

A risk-per-trade slider on Deploy, with the best-chance mark taken from your system's real replay.
Learn moreShow less
Every deploy now starts from the risk the system was actually tested at. Slide it and Nebula restates the outcome from the recorded curve, and marks where the odds were best. A 5% per-trade wall stays in place whatever you pick.

Pick a target and a horizon; reach and breach odds recompute per setting, on one bar each.
Learn moreShow less
The risk-to-goal ladder on the Portfolio tab reads your book's real ledger and shows, for each risk setting, the chance of reaching the target against the chance of breaching your drawdown limit first. Change either input and the ladder rebuilds.

A proof that ran on part of a book now reads "N of M legs" instead of a bare survivor count.
Learn moreShow less
If a portfolio's forward proof could only replay some of its legs, the badge now says so up front, so a partial book is never mistaken for a full one.

Your most profitable pair, timeframe and crossover from forward tests, plus the network view.
Learn moreShow less
Forward analytics now roll up what your own forward tests have proved, side by side with the anonymised Polaris network. Use it to point the next run at the ground that has held up, not the ground that looked good in a backtest.

Each deployed EA stands aside for high-impact news, and the rule sticks when you re-deploy.
Learn moreShow less
Your current news rule is compiled into every EA at deploy time, including copies Nebula cannot reach, and Mission Control stops asking you to re-deploy a system that already carries it. MT4 EAs now run trade management once per bar, matching MT5 and the simulation.

Locks on while MetaTrader is still opening. Point Nebula at another account without a restart.
Learn moreShow less
Also in this release: Breed From works again, the post-update "Bridge connecting" hang is gone, and automatic swaps only fire where the EA is confirmed on your terminal. Since 0.4.43: 19 languages, an unlimited passed-system archive, the Inspector size lens and your own acceptance rules.

Telegram remote desk
Run it from your pocket.
Link Telegram in settings and your desk becomes a contact in your phone. Ask in plain English - portfolio status, open positions, risk exposure, run progress, system health, even "how are we doing" - and Nebula replies with the real numbers from your machine.
Learn moreShow less
Alerts come to you the same way: deploys confirmed, drift flagged, runs finished. Optional machine controls stay locked behind an explicit opt-in and a confirmation step, so a lost phone is never a lost desk.

Polaris - the hive mind
One engine per member. One memory for all of them.
Opt in to Polaris and your installation joins a shared machine-learning pool: every member's engine contributes anonymised strategy outcomes - what survived live conditions, what decayed - and every member's engine learns from the combined record. It is experience your single account could never accumulate alone.
Off by default. You choose to join, you can see exactly what your machine has contributed, and you can stop any time.
The pool carries strategy outcome data - never your account details, broker, balance or identity.
Every new member widens what every engine has seen. The Polaris tab shows the network learning in real time.
Prop-firm mode
Designed around the rulebook.
Funded accounts are lost to rule breaches as often as to bad trades. From Pro, Nebula loads firm-style rule sets - daily loss limits, max drawdown, position caps - simulates your candidate against them to find breaches before they happen, and compiles the limits into the deployed EA. News-avoidance windows are baked in on every deploying tier.
These are tools for operating inside a firm's published rules. No software can promise a passed challenge, and we don't. Check your firm's terms permit EA use.
Runs on what you already own.
Windows and macOS desktop app. All searching, testing and grading runs locally - your strategies never leave your computer unless you opt in to sharing.
Works with MT4 and MT5 from any broker that offers them. Nebula compiles and installs EAs into your own terminal - no bridge accounts, no copy-trading middleman.
Tests run on your broker's own price history, pulled through your terminal - so the data you test on is the data you'll trade on.

Nebula reviews · verbatim from Trustpilot
“Nebula is unlike anything I’ve ever used or seen. It’s not just a producer of EAs. It builds every one with your input and parameters.”
Finn · on Trustpilot · Aug 2026
“I have certain requirements for my trading strategy and pre-programmed trading robots did not fit me. Nebula allows you to create a custom EA based on your requirements for MetaTrader 4 and 5.”

Trading foreign exchange and CFDs carries a high level of risk and can result in losses exceeding your deposit with some brokers. Simulated and past performance are not reliable indicators of future results. Nebula is software - a tool, not financial advice - and no result is guaranteed.
