How does the licence know if I stop paying?
Each successful renewal extends the expiry baked into your key by another period (90 / 270 / 365 days). If you cancel, no more renewals fire — your existing key keeps working until its currently-baked expiry, then locks. You get the period you paid for, no surprises.
Can I switch between subscription and lifetime later?
Yes. Buying lifetime any time replaces your subscription with a non-expiring key. Cancel the recurring sub afterwards.
Does the app need internet to run?
No. The licence is signed offline with an expiry date — the app reads it locally. We only phone home occasionally to pick up renewals. Backtesting and EA generation run fully offline on your hardware.
What happens if my card fails?
Shopify retries automatically for a few days (dunning). If it eventually succeeds your expiry extends and life carries on. If it doesn't, your key expires at the date it was last extended to.
Is the lifetime tier really lifetime?
Yes — no recurring charge, no expiry date in the key, all future updates included. The catch: if we ever ship something that needs a new tier (e.g. a cloud add-on), that's a separate optional purchase.
Can I move my licence to a new machine?
Keys are machine-locked, but you can re-redeem your token on a new machine via the app's Activate screen. Limited to one active machine per licence at a time.
Refund policy?
14-day money-back on subscriptions, no questions. Lifetime: 30-day money-back. After that, partial refunds are case-by-case — email support.
