Do I need to know how to code?
No. Nebula handles strategy generation and EA compilation end-to-end. You'll never touch MQL4 or MQL5 unless you want to.
Will Nebula work with my broker?
If your broker offers MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, yes. Nebula generates standard Expert Advisor files that drop into the terminal exactly like any other EA — and it automatically finds the MetaTrader terminals on your machine, whether they're standard, broker-branded or portable prop-firm builds (FTMO, OANDA, FundedNext and the rest).
Does Nebula run on Mac?
Yes. Nebula ships native builds for Windows and macOS — both Intel and Apple Silicon. Everything installs and runs locally on your own machine, with no cloud subscription.
What is Orion, and do I have to use it?
Orion is the assistant built into Nebula. You can run the whole app the usual way and never touch it. If you'd rather work hands-free, you can talk to Orion or message it on Telegram to run checks and hear the results read back — and, if you allow it, have it tidy up your machine when a run finishes. Voice, Telegram and remote actions are included with Pro and Ultimate, and everything Orion does is opt-in.
Can I share or use other traders' strategies?
Yes. The community Genome Bank lets you browse strategies shared by other Nebula traders. Pro and Ultimate members can import them into their own vault and publish their own genomes back to the library. It's a curated collection that updates over time — not a live free-for-all.
How long until I have a deployable strategy?
A typical configure-to-deploy cycle takes hours, not weeks. The engine runs unattended; you come back to a ranked list of survivors that have already cleared walk-forward testing.
Is past performance a guarantee of future results?
No. Trading carries substantial risk and you can lose more than your deposit on leveraged accounts. Nebula's walk-forward and anti-overfitting filters reduce — but cannot eliminate — the risk of strategy decay. Please read the full risk disclosure below.
How does Nebula work with prop firms?
Every generated EA can be bound to hard daily-loss and total-drawdown caps that match the rules of major firms (FTMO, MFF, The Funded Trader, FundedNext, and more). The EA stops opening new positions the moment a limit is reached.
Can I edit the strategies the engine produces?
You don't edit the MQL code directly — you adjust the configuration, risk and constraints, then re-breed. This keeps every strategy in your library reproducible and auditable.
How is this different from buying a prebuilt EA?
A prebuilt EA is one fixed strategy. When market conditions change, it dies. Nebula is the breeding engine: you own the ability to generate fresh strategies on demand, tuned to whatever instrument and conditions matter to you today.
