Open a currency pair
Each currency in the pair is shown on its own, for example EUR and USD on EURUSD.
Read the percentage
Each number is the share held by the side with the larger interest. A higher number means more of the interest sits on that side.
Use it as context
It shows which side large traders lean. It does not time an entry. Use it with a bias you already have.
What you see on the chart
| Mark | What it means |
|---|---|
| Currency code | Which currency the number belongs to |
| Percentage | The share of interest on the larger side |
| Bullish or bearish side | Which side holds that larger share |
When it updates
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| Tuesday | The positions in the report are taken |
| Friday | The CFTC publishes the report. The display refreshes by itself |
So Friday's number describes positions as of that Tuesday.
