Link MetaTrader 4 on Windows, then deploy any system built from MT4 ready blocks.

Link MetaTrader 4
Close MetaTrader 4 the first time
Close MT4, then open Nebula. Nebula installs its connector EA, NebConnector4, and opens MT4 with it attached. After that, every connect is automatic.
Or attach it by hand
If MT4 was already open, the link fails with a one time instruction. In MT4 open the Navigator (Ctrl and N), go to Expert Advisors, drag NebConnector4 onto any chart, then pick the terminal again in Nebula.

Pick the MT4 terminal
Open Settings › Licence & System. In Connected account MT4 rows read via Nebula connector. Click yours.

Deploy to MT4
Check the Deploy tab reads MT4
Pick the system. The platform follows the terminal you are connected to, so the badge reads MT4. Check the install location is your MT4 MQL4/Experts folder.
Press Deploy
Nebula writes and compiles the .mq4 and .ex4 into your MT4 Experts folder, in a Nebula folder.
If a block has no MT4 version, the deploy stops and names it. Deploy that system to MT5 instead.
Attach it to a chart
In MT4 open the Navigator, expand Expert Advisors › Nebula, and drag the EA onto a chart of the same symbol and timeframe. Tick algorithmic trading in the box, click OK, then turn AutoTrading on in the toolbar.

Library systems run on MetaTrader 5 only for now. Deploy them to an MT5 terminal on any plan.
If something goes wrong
MT4 connector not responding and attach NebConnector4
WhyMT4 was open without the connector
FixAttach NebConnector4 to any chart, then pick the terminal again.
It also asks you to compile NebConnector4
WhyMetaEditor did not compile it
FixOpen MetaEditor in MT4, compile NebConnector4 under Experts, attach it.
MT4 connector timed out serving the broker spec

Questions
Does Nebula work with MT4 on a Mac?
No. On a Mac Nebula connects to MetaTrader 5 only.
Why can some systems not go to MT4?
Some blocks read market structure that MT4 cannot compute the same way. The MT4 EA would trade a different system, so Nebula refuses.
Does a Starter MT4 deploy count toward the daily limit?
Yes. Starter builds one deployable system a day, on MT4 or MT5.
